On 15/08/2017 I bought and downloaded the CMDR Deluxe Edition of Elite Dangerous, and since then I have hardly been on Oppesitelock or Jalopnik, my posts have been nil, my replies to people and articles so few that they barely merit a mention. I am sorry, I have neglected you all.
Well as I have been enjoying New Years Eve eve. Decided I would do a nice collection of the Forza 7 snap shots I have done in the past couple of months. I have been trying new settings trying to get a more realistic look. I am just amazed at the lighting the game creates and how well they reflections come out.
I was trying to find stuff on early PC wheels, and found this comment from 1995, about the Thrustmaster Formula T1 (one of the first):
Uhh... I think this isn’t supposed to work like this. (That’s High-Speed Ring, too.)
In the 2018 PCOTY (Performance Car of the Year) issue of Road & Track, Preston Lerner writes an article about the future of motorsports, entitled “Terminal Velocity”. Over the course of the article, Lerner discusses the established giants—Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Le Mans, IMSA—as well as relative new comers—Global…
I’m getting back into it now that the latest update has allowed me to create LAZ0RBALL. Up to 16 players with Lasers. One ball to fondle. High speed, paranoia and friendly fire. Sure to be a blast! Anyone wanna give it a go w me, help playtest and whatnot? GT is IT Jerk
Depending on what you may already own, some of these games make this purchase a no-brainer.
Mrs. BoostAddict usually does most of the direct sheep care, but a couple weeks ago she broke her foot falling off a ladder while helping me erect our barn... so I’ve been on 100% farm labor duty (not just technical/mechanical/construction services) for for the last while. It’s been very tiring.
Best thing is two player mode at Ashland with the exploding chicken cheat enabled. Time it right, hit the other player’s undercarriage with a chicken and watch them go spinning about 45 feet in the air.
Quake II is my favorite with its driving instrumental metal sound. It is also backed up by many good memories of playing 4 player split screen.
It was already on sale at Walmart so I figured why not? I loved the older ones and want a challenge so hopefully it won’t dissapoint.
Posted a couple weeks ago that I payed $60 for FH3 just to have it not even allow me to install it on my old ass desktop computer. My laptop may work, but it currently doesnt have windows 10, so Im working on that. In the meantime I had reinstalled Test Drive Unlimited 2, which I had bought years ago but quickly…
The single greatest racing arcade game ever made.
These are eight less well known but very good games I wanted to share with you all. They’re all under $20 on Steam and most probably didn’t get a ton of fanfare or publicity when released. They’re all still fantastic and you should check them out if you have some time and money to spare.*
...is that magical place where:
Very happy to say that I finally un-fucked the not-an-M3 on the CarX drift game I spend too much time playing. Before it was snappy and just did burnouts. Now it is smooth and fun.
... Go try Titanfall 2. It’s a free play weekend from 3/30 to 4/3. You get the multiplayer and just a taste of the single-player. I highly recommend it.
I’ve never even played Supaplex. But, last night, I listened to an episode of DOS Nostalgia that was just... here’s some game music, enjoy, and it was in there. So, post up old game music.
You can get Project CARS for PC for less than $9, or with a bunch of DLC for $15. Some other fun stuff in the bundle as well. Fun stuff, and a pretty nice racing game.
