Disclamer : It’s dirty (i am not a developer and JS is not my thing), it might break on the next change they make on the Kinja code and at the moment, it’s only displaying the username of the poster (no link to the user account or replies count).
Ideally, the username should be under the post title but i did a quick and dirty thing and haven’t messed seriously with CSS in a long time ; feel free to share suggestions and fixes.
- Install the “Tampermonkey” extension (available for most browsers)
- On the settings of the module, click on the “+” to add a new script
- Copy/paste the code, from here
- “File => Save”
- Reload the Oppo mainpage
Well... first “bug”, it’s not working with posts that don’t have any image like the one after this one :
It’s due to the fact that they don’t have a
<figure> tag that the current code is using to find where to add the new
<div> (just after).
I updated the code on the URL so if you have the 0.2 or 0.3 version of the code you can replace it with the new version that now works even if there is no image on the post, it also displays the username under the title and it’s now also working on the “Dashboard => Feed” page :
I added a link to the replies part of posts, it also sort of fix the “Dashboard => Feed” page as you can now access to posts even if there is no “Read More” link.
