This weekend the annual (or at least: it’s been annual last couple of years) RS Fest was held in Rosmalen, the Netherlands. I went last year as well and showed some pictures back then so here are the results of this year’s edition. It seemed to be somewhat smaller this year, no official dealer showed all the new stuff (like they did last year, except for the 918). It’s a bit pic-heavy so if you’re not into Porsches (most of them 911s of course) better skip this one!
Lots of vintage Porsches, lots of US-imports as well.
Prices are completely nuts at this moment, I saw a 911 3.2 pre-’87 (so no G50 transmission) for almost 50k euros. As an original-EU 3.2 G50-owner I approve of this of course but it’s getting a bit absurd. This was that one:
Newer stuff as well though, it was a nice mix of both worlds.
This year’s edition had some sort of Targa-theme so lots of those as well. Luckily not too much as I’m not a big fan of the vintage Targas. The 993 Targa was the first one I did like.
But still no match for...
And although really appealing, the stuff I come here for is older. Way older. Like a 904.
Or that little bastard 550 spyder.
This one was a replica though.
Best of show for me was this Stinger-esque “913”:
Love that sticker. It wasn’t a genuine Singer, the “donor” car of this one was a 1979 930.
The modern non-911s were attending as well, amazing to see these still don’t get all the attention they’d deserve if you ask me. Oh, one did obviously...
Most of what you see here is for sale. Cheapest one was an all beaten-up 912 with lots of missing parts and quite some holes in it. Was sold for 1950 euro. One parking lot was Porsche-only.
Lot of nice stuff there as well. Cayman GT4!
And the usual suspects...
Well, if you made it this far you’ll have an overload of Porsches seen this morning. Hope you enjoyed it, I loved walking around anyway. Thanks for watching!
