Looks like that “locker” in the FX4 expedition is just a weak sauce electronic LSD that is NOT up to the task of anything resembling “locker” duties.

I mean, I never considered it to be a Land Cruiser replacement but given Fords experience and willingness to take risks with their off road vehicles I have to say this is a big letdown. I suspect the IRS necessitated a new rear diff carrier that was incompatible with the standard F-150's ACTUAL locker and this was the best they could do.  I mean props for trying I guess.
