Some of them, like me, have been struggling for the past seven years to pay for my school’s ludicrous fees. And some of them are so rich, they’ve practically got everything set for the rest of their lives. Some of us are working summer jobs to get by, whilst others get invited by Vogue and get to literally, and I mean literally, sit behind people like Anna Wintour, Vera Wang, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman at high-publicity events. In 10 years time, those classmates will probably be famous fashion designers whilst the rest of us get forgotten. It’s not like I’m jealous - I hate all things Kardashian etc - but it’s just weird how in the supposed controlled environment of school, you still have such huge disparities in what people eventually become. It certainly isn’t just talent. Money and personality are part of it too.
