The F-150... is no longer a Texan

I went out at lunch today and made the truck a New Mexican. By taking an early lunch at around 10:45, I even managed to avoid a significant crowd at the MVD. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes, which pretty much unheard of for one of the public, state run offices.

I went with the new Chile plate. I’ve got a wall full of standard red on yellow New Mexico plates from previous vehicles I’ve owned, and the corvette and escalade had the turquoise state centennial plates, so it felt like it was time for a change.

I also get to ditch the front plate and holder, because we don’t need no stinking front plates in New Mexico. Besides the whole truck being due for a svending, there’s an added benefit of more direct airflow to the intercooler.

These aren’t a bad looking license plate, if I do say so.
