In yet another set back for the F-35, it can't fly if the fuel is too warm. As a short term fix they have decided to paint the fleet of fuel trucks white while searching for a more permanent solution. From what I get out of the article this only applies to the F-35B STOVL variant, but it may affect all F-35's. This has serious implications for forward deployment of the F-35B as having a fleet of bright white painted fuel trucks in a war zone has obvious drawbacks.
It seems that the F-35 is a bit of a white elephant.
