Lemon Laws are often restricted to certain kinds of products - like cars and trucks - but what law covers the other stuff? The answer is the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act - sometimes called The Federal Lemon Law.

I have written quite a bit about the Lemon Law and what other laws protect you in those instances where the Lemon Law might not apply. The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act is sometimes called The Federal Lemon Law. It applies in all 50 states and covers any warranted consumer goods. RVs, boats, sewing machines? You bet! And the law allows for the successful recovery of attorney’s fees and court costs if your claim is righteous.

Sometimes, writing isn’t enough. So, I recorded a podcast and video on the topic.

Here is the podcast for those of you who like to use just your ears.

And for the more visual among you, here is the video.

Notice that Milo makes an appearance over my shoulder at the 6:30 mark. He didn’t speak so he doesn’t appear in the credits. However, he does seem to be mildly amused by me - sitting in a room by myself - talking into the computer.

This website may supply general information about the law but it is for informational purposes only. This does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not meant to constitute legal advice, so the good news is we’re not billing you by the hour for reading this. The bad news is that you shouldn’t act upon any of the information without consulting a qualified professional attorney who will, probably, bill you by the hour.
