The Final (And Coolest) Suspension Piece for my W203 "Build"

Turned out that in my infinite wisdom, I ordered solely an H&R rear sway while thinking I was getting a kit for the front and rear.

I was planning to get the second half of the kit for the front, a 26mm H&R bar. And then I was tipped off on this. A 22mm Genuine Mercedes unit, made by Eibach. For the CLK Black Series.

It will be interesting to see how it handles with a smaller front bar than the kit would typically include, even if it is massive in comparison to stock. It’s also a direct fit, as the 07 Sport Pack included a larger bar from the factory stolen off of one of the bigger cars. Shooting for more oversteer, as the car weighs 3400lbs and that’s a ton to push around an autocross. This may be a bit of a handful on a real track, but that’s a ways away. Plus this was a lot cheaper than the H&R piece.

The full assembly I’m going with:

And a shot of the two cars together, while I still own both of them:

Looking forward to getting plates for the Benz. Looking even more forward to getting these go-fast parts in.
