I keep reading on Jalopnik every time the current Honda Civic comes up about it’s too many lines and angles, ‘fake’ airvents, etc...

Yes it does have a lot of angles and and lines but people need to understand the evolution of the cars design.

Granted The U.S. missed out on the hatchbacks and Type R’s for some time.

For years you had coupes and saloons while elsewhere had hatchbacks and estates on top of that.

North America just missed out on the angular evolution so ye’, the current Civic is very angular and more lines to you with ‘fake’ vents, but to the rest of us, those features aren’t new.
