This is the 1969 Dodge Super Charger concept car. Not gonna lie, I frickin’ love this thing. I want to create a more detailed post about it, but researching it is difficult because googling it results in article after article and photo after photo of this stupid thing:

I mean, I like a well-done restomodded Charger as much as the next guy, but I JUST WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE FREAKING DAYTONA ROADSTER. What I do know about it is that 1) It still exists, apparently, and seems to be owned by someone in Rhode Island. 2) It was based on an earlier concept car which shared the roadster bodywork but lacked the Daytona nose:

3) There was a magazine article about it back in the day, though I can’t seem to find said article besides one page:

4) The car made a brief appearance in a movie called “Truck Turner, 1974", which I’ve never heard of and have no idea how I would watch now:
