A couple of days ago, I asked you what were the nicest & cheapest cars for under $10k. Here are the top 5 cars in two different categories, and then the overall scores.

Ownership

The ownership category is for the cars that users would buy. Here are the top 5 entries:

5. 1997 BMW 750i: $9,800 : 1 Point

A car only Mr. Bond would love.

4. 2005 Audi A4: $4,950 : 2 Points

It’s no attention hog, but who wouldn’t want an A4 for under $5k? Besides, it has a Chuck-E-Cheeses in the background. Maybe that’s why it’s up here.

3. 1965 Mustang: $7,500 : 3 Points

These things are great, except they miiiight leave you stranded on the side of the road sometimes. Ooooh, a Z28!

Suggested By: HondasFordsVolvos-hasaHondaagain!, and please don’t make me spell that again.

2. 1985 BMW 635csi: $7,500 : 4 Points

These are great collector’s cars. The one above, at first glance, appears to be junk due to the surroundings, but no, someone loved this car. It’s as shiny as gold. Look at the mirrors! After seeing the exact same make, model, trim level, and year of car pictured above yesterday, I am in love with it.

1. 1988 BMW 320i: $2,750 : 5 Points

A cheap-ass 1988... BMW... wagon... what is there not to love? It is in Germany, so you know someone took an amazing deal of care for it, and at the low low cost it is right now, importing it shouldn’t raise its price up over $6,000.

The looks category is for... well... looks! Here are the top contenders.

3. 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL : 3 Points

This shark somehow failed in the ownership category, narrowly getting 6th after the bonuses were tallied up, but pulled off an amazing lead here! Good job! And the following picture is of the car in the ad... with it’s mind-blowing front bumper.

How can you not love that front bumper? And that sideskirt.
