The Opposite Locker - Edition XIX - Midsize Monday

This is The Opposite Locker where we try and sort out the cool from the square. You are free to discuss your point of view of the cars, on the board and up to bat, within the comments with an optional use of the "Anna Kendrick Test." This is a discussion system detailing how cool a car is, not how fast, fun, or frivolous it may be, but how well it looks in the cat's pajamas.

Try a different web browser if the polls do not show. Asterisked* cars are moved more than slightly from the original vote by use of veto power, and double asterisked** cars are vehicles moved back under a challenge. If you are confused about whats going on, click here.

New Kids on the Block - Midsize Monday

The average bloke won't be picking up any ladies in any of the cars already in the 'frigid' locker space; they will be driving their midsize sedan everywhere. The midsize sedan is the most competitively contested market space in the United States, and the competition couldn't be duller. The goal has recently turned into a game of maximizing space and styling whilst also maximizing fuel economy; so far in the Jaloposphere, it would seem the Ford Fusion and the Mazda 6 are winning this game. So on to the question: while each company's advertising campaign would have you believe it, is there really such a thing as a cool midsize sedan?
