There is an ad where the radio announcer man states that Lincoln is on the cutting edge of technology because it has a push button transmission- "something unheard of in the automobile industry". It is then followed by the suggestion of using it as a conversation starter - the ad cuts to a ditzy sounding girl asking "How do you make this *dramatic pause* go?" I hate this ad because: one, push button transmissions have been around for SIX DECADES! And two, you don't put a car into "go." You put a car into gear. Get it right. Post 60s Lincoln is a shame, I feel bad for anyone who has gone out and bought one of the new cars sporting the "John Wilkes Booth mustache" grill.
