They're here!

Most of you know I have 1998 North American Ford Escort 4x100 alloy rims on my 2009 Accent. Well, the Ford center caps don’t fit on a Hyundai, so I’d 3D-designed and 3D-printed replacement Hyundai center caps twice now.

BUT....I end up replacing them once and awhile as the plastic I’d used before was too brittle and eventually they all failed (I only have one left!) I ordered some new ones from a place online awhile back out of a sturdier plastic...they only had a slightly translucent blue filament available to print in at the time, so I had to go with that, but my new replacement Hyundai center caps arrived today! :P

The first set I’d made...an amusing bright orange....I’d lost these years ago!

The current set...this is the only one I have left on my right-front wheel, haha!

The translucent blue is way darker than they advertised, but I’m fine with it...certainly looks unique, although black, gray or silver filament would’ve been my first choice! :)

Glad there are caps keeping dust, dirt and road grime out of my wheel centers again though...
