Turns out aluminum shock bodies suck in the winter. They wick heat away so well that they are ice cold and the fluid never gets warm enough so the ride is punishing. I’m going to wrap my shocks with foam to warm them up. Yes, really.
I hit them with my temp gun after a 20 mile drive and they are 30 degrees and it’s 36 degrees outside. They are seriously rocks. These are already valved a little stiff on bound but in the winter they are bordering on brutal.
