So, as some of you know, I recently bought a house, which means buying more stuff to fill the extra rooms I now have; as well as some renovations to make the place look less like I’m house sitting for some 80something empty nesters. And one thing has struck me - no matter where you go, Target, Wayfair, Amazon, local furniture store, even Home Depot, you run into crap with this pattern on it. Its on everything - carpets, shower curtains, pillows, towels, etc. Everything.
When something reaches this level of saturation, you just know its going to age badly. By 2030, we’re going to be beyond sick of it, and it will be seen as this decade’s equivalent of those sickly flower bouquets from the 1970s.
