My car search resumed tonight, with potential contenders including the Acura ILX, the Mazda CX-5, and the Mazda6 likely being ruled out. I then decided to look at the Edmunds trim breakdown for a wild card: the Cadillac XT5.
My dad has been really happy with his GM product, and I like the equipment these come with. There’s keyless access buttons on all four doors, a surround-view camera, a panoramic roof, a self-parking system, and a nice (to me) interior. Of course, there’s the other luxury options you’d expect, but these are some of the main wants that have pushed me into this territory. Current prices are kind of high, but used 2017’s are already around $30,000. If I wait some, prices will be lower on the newer ones.
Are these good cars to live with? I know I’m not from Michigan, but I don’t want to look like one of those people that only buys American cars. I definitely see more in these than offerings from other companies.
