So, today the Thunderbirds did their annual show for the US Air Force Academy graduation. They've been practicing overhead for a few days. Last year, due to budget cuts the show was cancelled, but a group of antique aircraft did the job.
This is what I saw from my neighborhood. It was spectacular. I've seen literally dozens of Thunderbirds' demonstrations, including a private show with the Chiefs of Staff of the US and Russian Air Forces - it NEVER get olds.
Pikes Peak is a great backdrop for anything, but it was really kind of the Thunderbirds to setup these shots for me.
