We went and played by the river behind the cabin, and much fun was had.

Yosemite is impassable in summer due to Disneyland-like crowds. Even in winter it is crowded, which stresses Toby. This should give you a pretty good idea how he feels about crowds.
He was such a trooper. I wanted to bite everyone, and he convinced me otherwise. So as a reward, I got him off the leash and down to the river where he could be happy and play, which you saw at the start of this post.
Tomorrow we are going to do a more secluded hike near Bass Lake for Toby. This has been a really nice trip.
