In a stunning flashback to the Toyota recalls of 2010, a driver at a car wash vacuumed their floor mat only to accidentally pin their pedal underneath it when they went to back out of their spot. This resulted in a crash with minor injuries to another driver when the speeding truck crushed their car in a wash bay.

So remember when all this went down with the toyota floor mats that got recalled back in 2010 and the judgement came down from the government that *all* vehicles need to be equipped with accelerator override via brake pedal? How did that not happen here? Why is it a “Runaway truck” and not an “Inattentive driver”?
