I started out being pretty indifferent towards trucks. The brodozers are a distinct minority, and I recognize they're pretty utilitarian, but I didn't see a future of me ever owning one, seeing as how I would only need a vehicle for road trips and DD.

However, now I am starting to follow through on childhood dreams (getting a motorcycle license, looking into personal watercrafts), and it's become evident any house I buy will need some major work to get it changed as to how I like things, and my girlfriend has soured over how Pittsburgh landlords tend to act towards her and wants to become a landlord herself to treat people right, a pickup truck is looking more and more like a good purchase for the future, letting us renovate homes and giving me a tow vehicle for powersports things.
