You may have noticed I like to post articles from The Verge, and there’s a reason for that: they’re really quite good. Here’s a review from Jason H Harper on the new Audi R8 at Daytona.
This car shares 50% of its parts with the IMSA GT3 race version and, specifically, uses the exact same engine that has a race season rebuild interval of 20,000 km. This means they’ll only rebuild it once after each season, not after each race.
