2011 Yamaha V-Star 950. Pretty looking bike, he bought it with a salvage title. How it was totaled out I will never know as its literally just scuffed up and the handle bars are a little bent. Oh and the signals went knocked lose form the housings but we’ve fixed that already.
Any of you happen to know how to remove the paint markers they use? Automotive soap won’t touch it. My dad tried various other things to remove it but no luck. We didn’t want to ruin the paint but its really, very hard. Thinking about as a last resort using the car wash high pressure hose. Either way it looks like we will have to get some proper polish and a buffing wheel to fix the clear coat finish after we remove the marker. Oh and it sounds great as well. Even better than the 1400 Intruder.
P.S. Actual horse saddle bags but since we don’t have horses any more they have been transitioned to iron steed duty :P
Edit: (Success! Used the clothing steamer and the paint cleaned right off.)
