Who doesn’t love some unnecessary car shopping in the morning? Let’s dive right in with this battle tested Autobahn warrior. Those rock chips on the bumper are badges of honor from its (presumably) many 100+ mph highway blasts in 150k miles. A $5,000 Mercedes is never cheap.
Is a 28 year old Miata an antique? This somewhat flustered dealer posing as a private seller thinks so. Only $2,000 for a 300k “hard to find” antique? This is also one of the worst ads I’ve seen in a while and poses so many questions while not really answering any. Worth a read.
Here is an actually good deal on a Miata. Somehow silver looks really good on this with the beige interior? $5,800 and 110k.
How about a seriously rare but very mundane car? I don’t recall ever seeing a Stratus Coupe in the wild, and this one is a manual! I recall RCR being quite unenthused about this forgotten near luxury coupe. Who was this for in the first place? 160k and $1,500.
Hmmm, this is pretty cheap for a Cooper Works in good nick. I am very tempted by this pocket rocket, if it weren’t for the color scheme. $4,900 and 110k!
This is pretty close to the perfect 1st gen Mini, with only 75k on the odo. This is the perfect color scheme, low miles, an S, and a high trim for only $6,000! Union Jacks on the sunroof and mirrors anyone? And a two tone blue interior? I would totally rock this! I’ve always had a soft spot for the Clubman, and I’m considering buying something more fun this summer. Too bad this won’t still be around in a few months.
Dang! He DD’ed this for 5 years? And is only asking $1,800? Rotary, yo!
Well, that’s all folks. What would you pick?
