Well, I was all set to get that WRX, and as I was working out the details with the salesperson, someone else sold it. Ouch. I get that I didn’t have a deposit down, but man, that kinda hurt. Of course, that didn’t stop me from car shopping. Again, this is unnecessary car shopping, but sometimes it shows fun things. Well, maybe necessary, because I’m a little afraid of the Abarth right now. I don’t know why, but I am. Probably the thread I was reading about failing convertible tops and a $4000 repair bill. I’m kinda out shopping for a warranty, really. Anyway...

Like, take for instance, this truck.

A 2018 with five G’s knocked off it? Hmmm... I’ve never had a truck, but I always need to do truck things. The Crosstrek ends up pulling truck duty with the roof rack. Can I be a truck guy with a 2WD truck? I don’t know...

And then I saw this Camero:

A 2017 Turbo 4 six speed at over $9000 off original MSRP. (Ok, I know I’d probably lose some of the insane lists of “discounts” but just go with it). Hmmm.... I mean, it’s pretty. The base level Camaro isn’t quit an Ecoboost ‘Stang, but it matches numbers to numbers. It’s basically at the same price as used, non-CPO ‘17s. With proper shoes, it wouln’t be worse than the Abarth in the snow. Maybe better, since the low weight of the Abarth probably hurts it.

Hmmmm.....

I’m looking at GM because I have, like, $3000 in rewards on my GM card right now. So a 2017 Turbo 4 Camaro for damn near half price? Double hmmm..... A new truck in yellow for damn near 2/3 price? Hmmm....
