A few weeks ago I featured three luxury sedans from GM circa 2001 on 9/11; today we see how far GM has come in the approximately ten years time past that date. Therefore I have found three much more modern GM cars in the $20K price range, the highest ever here on Used Car Face Off. One is a FWD turbo 4, one is a AWD turbo six, and last is a RWD V8. The question though is, which of the three is worth that kind of cash? Here are the options:

The first contestant: 2015 Buick Regal Turbo- $21,499

Here we have a nearly brand new Buick Regal powered by the 2.0L Ecotec turbo 4 and eAssist for a little more economy...will the peace of mind provided by its 13K mileage and dealership seller win you over?

The second contestant: 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero XWD - $21,900

This was the last new model Saab ever made. Born in 2011, this example is a top-of-the-line Aero XWD with the turbo V6 and one of Haldex’s finest all wheel drive systems with only 54K miles under its belt. Equipped with everything including HUD and a panoramic roof, will this Epsilon Platform car beat its Buick brother?

The third contestant: 2009 Cadillac CTS V - $22,995

Now that we’ve seen two Epsilon Platform cars, let’s go to the Sigma Platform for the venerable CTS-V, known widely as the fastest modern American wagon. Here we have a sedan though, with 101K miles on its six year old body...is it worth the fuel economy?
