V8 Prius

So yesterdays NPOCP V8 power 911 got me thinking. Using a Porsche transmission and axle, would it be possible to get a SBC V8 into a Prius? The three (hah yeah only three!) concerns I had was is the prius wide enough, does the prius have enough rear over hang, and how to mate the two pieces together? Prius width: 67 in. porsche 911 - 964 model: (65.0–69.9 in). I couldn't find any rear over hang dimensions, but I didn't look too hard.

How would you mate the Porsche components with the Prius's unibody? My thought would be to create a traditional ladder frame and bolt the prius body on top. Not the best for weight but probably the simplest solution.

What generations would be best to hack up? I know little to nothing about 911s. I imagine for the prius you would go with a second gen car because they were much bigger than the first and can be found for cheap. Im still shocked that no one has done this yet. If I had a lot of time and money it would be one of the first things I would build for sure.
