So that watch I bought a while back— I finally got around to doing something to remedy everything I didn't like about it, and all for cheap.

Replaced the stainless band and all its jingling with a NATO-style nylon band with stripes in the right places and black PVD hardware. Apologies for the potato pics.

With the stopwatch hands resting at 12, they just continue the line from the band through the face. Simple changes can make big differences. At some point I'll take it to the angle grinder and work on that polished finish, but, as far as actual priorities go, that's pretty low.
