I know W140's can be SUPER money pits, but I got this guy down to $500 bucks... the skeptic in me tells me to RUN RUN RUN, but the gambler in me tells me that the transmission problems are in the electronics which are relatively easy to repair, and similar to the ones on my ML. CPS is an easy job, and then the other wiring I have is the 92-97 (I believe) had the eco-junk wiring harnesses. Basically the wires deteriorate in the car, because some GENIUS at daimler thought bio degradable wiring harnesses were a GREAT idea. Give me ideas. 500 Bucks for a early 90's S class. S500. Seller told me 150k miles. This one is a MUCH bigger gamble than the 380SEC, due to all the electronics and I'm not too big a fan of the W140's looks. Why must I find these ridiculous MBs and then get too interested in them... I really wish I could widen my car horizons.
