What does a Toyota Strut look like after 100,000 miles and 17 years?

Crusty and leaky. The other side was slightly less rusty and not leaking, I think it was replaced at some point a long time ago. There should be a gaiter and bump stop in there.

That’s what’s left of it. New KYB Shocks and Tein Springs have gone in, which should be a good improvement!

I really should have replaced the strut tops as well, but just cleaned them up for now. I got rained off today so that leaves the rears to do on Monday. MOT is on Thursday with a couple of other jobs to do.
