No, Livermush is not just like scrapple. Livermush is more like redneck pâté. Pork livers ground fine, mixed with cornmeal, herbs, and spices, molded into blocks and cooked until firm. Then you slice and fry it. I like mine crispy on the outside and mushy inside.
