I was just on the phone with my indie mechanic. They tried to get an ignition lock from Honda as the starting problems come from the ring in there that reads the key and tells the fuel pump relay to give fuel or not. Turns out Honda used two different ones, and even with the full VIN can’t tell which one we need. I have to bring the car in for them to take it out, look at it, order the part and then put it back in. And, of course, I then have to return a few days later to have the new one installed. I thought that this was the 21st century, not the middle ages.
