Besides the fact that by now most people forgot these were even made at one point (especially the unicorn Aspen Hybrid), these fell pretty flat despite being produced for just over 3 years. Almost 65,000 were made total. A grand total of 30 were sold in its final year. Where did it go wrong though?
Despite the horrible interior materials (its pre bankruptcy ChryCo so it was pretty terrible) I always thought that it was a good effort from Chrysler and more handsome than the Durango. It even has glowing reviews from owners. Few reviews I read had customers choosing it over a QX45 and another choose it over an Escalade. I think if Chrysler had made a second gen, especially Chrysler now it would have been better? So what was wrong with it? Despite the obvious fact that its too heavily based on the Durango?
