I took off my exhaust manifold and turbo and they car covered in white powdery residue. The manifold is cracked and the white starts after the cracks. I’ve heard this can be caused by burning coolant but also running too lean. Could it happen just because of the cracks?
Also in the 2 years I’ve owned the car I have noticed it “using” coolant. Here’s a photo of the substantial cracks, the one on the left is also visible on the top side of the manifold.
