After several weeks of blowing trans fluid all over the road it’s finally sealed.
I was focused too much on the trans pan all this time. Turns out it was the input seal for the transfer case and the case adapter itself.
I knew something was wrong when I yanked the driveshaft and a quart of fluid hit me in the face. I drained a total of 5 quarts from the T case. It should only have 2..
3 hours to pull the driveshaft, transfer case, adapter, reseal and assemble.
Not too bad but I really wanted to be at the track today.
On the plus side every surface under the truck is now coated with a protective film of ATF! Yay!
