With any luck, this is as disassembled as it’s going to get. The frozen rear drum has been split in two, and now everything seems to be moving freely (except for the drum mechanism itself which is going to need some brute force recalibration). Pretty much all of the cables need to be replaced and the tires and chain are shot, plus I’m trying to get my hands on some cafe-style handlebars for it because I’m a cliche, but from here on out it’s just buying parts and sticking them on. Maybe it’ll actually be running by summer.
