1. This particular one has been in a wreck at some point in its past. Thats my disclaimer, its been repainted and all that so there are a few big red flags. It was rough in some places. A few panels not lining up very well, chipped or bubbled paint in a few places, non-standard wheels, worn leather seats were a few things I noticed right off. A few non-standard items are on the car, i.e. different shifter, short ram style intake (or just a conical filter added), newer style headlights though pop-ups would come with it, I think.

2. It started right up, and was a bit quieter than I was expecting. Ran well. Of course, the clutch was something I would need to play with a bit to get used to, but take-up was good (a bit higher than I'm used to) and clutch/trans/shifter felt nice and mechanical. It 'jittered' a bit when taking off, but I was really being easy on it. Very analog all around. No power steering that I could tell, but it does have some form of ABS and traction control. Steering is direct and everything feels nicely connected to the road.

3. Driving it feels really good. Its super low and very very comfortable (more so than the ST). Visibility is really very good (might be one of the best cars I've driven for visibility). Redline - 8000. It feels like it wants to be thrashed. I had a salesperson in the car so I didn't do anything really. Up to 6k rpm and maybe 80 mph. Brakes didn't feel that great to me, but that could very well be the specific car. Interestingly (again, maybe just this car) it didn't feel fast to me. I DD a Fiesta ST that always feels somewhat bonkers and the NSX feels planted and purposeful, but didn't give me belly flip flops (technical term) that I like so much.

4. I thought I would feel really conspicuous driving it, but I didn't care even a little.

The sales person tried to sell me hard (hard) on it, but I knew more about this car than they did. Maintenance records were a little scary, but there are records which is a great thing. 4 grand put into it just recently. 2k for the clutch before that and other random things here and there. I'd really like to find an un-wrecked original one.

Overall 10/10 would DD. Enough boot space for random things, can only seat 2 (sorry cars full), somewhat reliable. Very good stuff. So much character. Can't stop thinking about it.
