If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

Why do I do this to myself?

Reading is apparently too hard for the front page folks. No one in this thread is saying we should be driving “new” 50 year old cars, but rather that it’s difficult to get a bare bones car these days which is inflating prices. He keeps going on about cars being 10x what they used to be, acknowledges inflation and yet completely ignores inflation. I pull some stats off the interwebs showing, yes even base model cars are more expensive (at least MSRP is), but it’s no where near 10x. Yet he tells me to google it. Stay off the FP kids.
