Even 90s Toyotas have their weak spots, and one of them is the little connectors to the ignition coils. Therefore, I need three new ones (only 3 because of the wasted spark system)

So I go to the website of my local Toyota dealer for part # 90980-11246, which they list at $5.44 each.

When I walked into the parts counter at the SAME DEALER, he told me $13 each! WTF? I asked him about hte other price, and apparently you have to order them online, which I did after returning home from that trip. There is no shipping charge because local pickup is offered.

So the question is, why are the prices different? And why the fuck couldn't he just give me the online price?
