Holes drilled, seat is now bolted on! I ziptied the seat center support (which is the part that holds my weight) in place for test fitting and also ziptied the rear fender in. I have no clue how I’m going to mount that fender for real.

The footpegs for the CX are offset towards the front. However, left to right they are perfect mirror images so if I swap them left to right I get footpegs offset to the rear. I’ll need to hack some length out of the brake pedal and re-weld it, and then add that same length into the shifter for super ghetto rearsets.

The seating position with the slimmer cafe style seat is way better. I can actually tuck in and hug the tank if I want to, plenty of control and room to stand up, and it’s not TOTALLY neck breaking for cruising.

Cleaning up some wiring sins. Need to find a decent starter button but I had other stuff that needed doing tonight so I had to stop for now. Hopefully tomorrow my engine gasket will get here. Later tonight I need to split my carbs apart and replace a few o-rings to hopefully stop the gas-tastrophe that has occurred.
