Let’s just call this Proceed Concept what it actually is, the Stinger Sport Turismo Concept. Peter Schreyer is supposed to retire this year and Luc Donckerwolke is to be the global head of design for Kia, Genesis, and Hyundai. That said, I think Kia’s European Design Cheif Gregory Guillaume is already the perfect successor to Schreyer.

Yeah, you’re thinking the same thing Im thinkin’. The Stinger would look so much better without all the mid 2010's ornamentation all over the body. If it ain’t Baroque don’t fix it on. Keep a Handel on your design lines. Always Bach away from A Minor offense because it can B Major! Ok okay, thats enough.

If you’re done chaconne out this stuff then let’s move on.

Huh, I didn’t realize how many design cues Kia has once you include the GT stuff coming from Guillaume. Have a look at the refreshed Sorento and you’ll see what I mean about the front end design cues.

That new GT face transcribes nicely onto the utilities. The Sorento would just need that sharkblade C-pillar from the new concept and it would look pretty unique for a CUV.

I’m digging the illuminated greenhouse trim.

Now hurry up and hit me with a Sedona!

(I’ve always wanted to end a post with that).

*Edit: Because you’re here already, tell me if you think Car and Driver are a bit excited over this Kia as well.
